We build the products we wish Nigeria already had. Then we try to break them.

Your postcode should not decide the quality of your technology.

Dexter Cyberlab began in Abuja with a straightforward belief: a Nigerian business deserves the same calibre of security and software as anyone, anywhere, and it should be able to get it from a team down the road.

So we built that team. Programmers and ethical hackers, in the same room, on the same work.

We learned by shipping our own products.

Advice is cheap when you have never had to ship. So before we asked anyone to trust us with their product, we built and launched our own: a food marketplace, a bank, an AI that runs customer care, an email platform, a charter service, live-stream directories and a public-money map.

Each one taught us something a client project never could, because when it breaks at 2 a.m., it is our name on it.

Everything we build, we try to break.

The same team that writes the code tests it the way an attacker would. Our own banking product went through security audits and a penetration test of its admin systems before launch.

Security is not a phase at the end. It is how we decide what to build in the first place.

What works for us, we build for others.

Everything we learn from our own products goes into client work, from public-sector systems like the Presidential Amnesty Program CRM to corporate platforms and private builds.

Some founders hire us to build their app. For the right ideas, we build it with them: a startup fee, monthly hosting, and sometimes equity, with the founder keeping the IP.
